2-Day New Zealander 'Kiwi' Tour

We do not forget that they are the 'NZ' in ANZAC! After their evacuation from Gallipoli, New Zealand troops were sent to the Western Front. It was on the killing fields of France & Belgium that most New Zealanders saw action and where almost 12,500 died. Follow in the footsteps of the victorious young Kiwis; from Flers to Le Quesnoy.

(Le Quesnoy - Somme + Passchendaele)

Runs once a week, starting Monday (availability on request - ENQUIRE NOW). Price is per couple.

2-Day New Zealander Tour combines our two most popular day tours to cover the top-to-bottom of New Zealand’s action across the Western Front..

Day 1 - Le Quesnoy - Somme heads east of Arras following the final battles of WW1 and the Kiwis on the road to Le Quesnoy. Longueval, Flers, 'Wellington Tunnels' in Arras etc... Where 100 years on New Zelanders are still proudly remembered by the local communities.

Day 2 - Passchendaele takes you north through Flanders Fields and into  into Belgium. The afternoon we venture onto the ridges of the Ypres Salient, and in the path of the New Zealand actions of 1917. A relaxing dinner in the old town of Ypres prepares us for the emotive 'Last Post' Ceremony at Menin Gate. A fitting way to finish a two day visit following in the footsteps of the New Zelanders on the Western Front.
